Manage Localized Content
View Localized Content
You can view localized content from the Localization Jobs dashboard which provides an overview of all localization jobs, or by navigating to a map or topic, where you can view localized content specific to a resource.
The Localization Jobs dashboard is available in the Browse tab of the Content Library. Follow the below steps to access localized content for a resource.
You can view all locales available for the file and switch between them by clicking the specific locale you want to see.
Edit Localized Content in Heretto CCMS
Changes that you made are stored in Heretto CCMS. They are not communicated to your LSP, even if you use the XTM integration.
Edit Localized Content Locally
Download or upload localized files that you've made modifications to.
Sometimes you may want to modify the structure of individual localized DITA or media files outside of Heretto CCMS. You can modify them outside of Heretto CCMS by downloading the localized topic from the Locales tab and then editing the structure.Locales are versions of your content in a target language, for example, in Canadian French or Polish. The locales listed in the Locales tab are locales for the standard map and the locales created for the releases and branches of the map.
Resend Content for Localization
Resend localized content to your localization provider if the content needs correction.
If the localization job for your map is marked complete, create a new localization job and send it to the localization provider. See Create an XLIFF Package or Create a Media Package.
